Gatorade Player of the Year

for Rhode Island!

The Gatorade Player of the Year is the highest award any player can achieve in High School Softball.  The award is given to the best student-athlete in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia across twelve different sports, which are recognized as an interscholastic sport.  Selection is based on three criteria: athletic achievement, academic excellence and exemplary character (including sportsmanship and participation in community and other activities).

Rachel is now in the running with the other winners to be considered for “National Player of the Year”.

This is a tremendous honor and we could not be happier for Rachel and the entire Kantor family!
